Cette petite kokeshi est réalisée par Satou Hideyuki, un artisan de la préfecture de Fukushima, qui travaille en famille. Les festons sur le front nous permettent d’identifier le style Yajiro. Le reste est moins typique : Satou-san a peint une très large rayure jaune, sur laquelle il a ajouté une fleur abstraite.

This small kokeshi doll is handcrafted by Satou Hideyuki, a kokeshi craftsman from the Fukushima prefecture. He works in a large workshop, with his family. We can identify the doll to the Yajiro strain thanks to the scallops on the forehead, very typical.
The decor is less typical: the maker has placed a large, yellow stripe on the body, and has painted over an abstract flower.
