Alexia Combes works as a self-employed ceramist since 2018, under the brand name Les Petites Carottes. This former graphic designer makes dinnerware in white stoneware, that she glazes in all colors.
She created a sober mug, ainmated by a wide brushstroke - black like sumi ink - that makes it come alive, like the first brushstroke gives life to kokeshi.
The mug is meant to be hold in your hand, without handle. It is glazed inside (and can be easily washed) et half-glazed on the outside. It contains about 350mL, large enough for herbal teas, a chocolat or a big tea. You can put it in the microwave and the dishwasher - but washing it by hand is better for the glaze.
This mug is handmade. Please expect some minor differences!
